Standing Ovations For All!

They always say song choice is important and The X Factor Judge's nailed it this week, with all six remaining contestants earning their standing ovations!

Kicking off the night was Taylor Henderson who was given his song Wake Me Up by Dannii Minogue and received a standing ovation from all four judges. Dannii said, "There are no nerves tonight, you got everyone rocking. You've got the confidence now - those moves, it was hot!"

Omar Dean took on Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved from Redfoo. His mentor Ronan Keating said, "You've gotten stronger each week and you just showed us right now how good you are. Second standing O for the night!"

Following a standing ovation every week, Ronan hoped his song choice for Dami Im would continue and it did with all four judges on their feet following her performance of Clarity.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte gave 14-year-old Jai Waetford his song for the night - Keane's Somewhere Only We Know. Following another standing ovation from the judges, Redfoo said, "Very smooth and very cool. It was timeless, you reminded me of a young Thomas Edison, it was just pure!"

Redfoo's remaining girl Jiordan Tolli also had a song picked by Nat who chose Lorde's Royals. Also receiving a standing ovation from the judges, Nat said of the choice, "That's exactly the kind of artist you should be, you were beautiful!"

Wrapping up the night and getting the judges and crowd dancing was THIRD D3GREE who were given The Black Eyed Peas Pump It by Redfoo. Dannii Minogue said, "THIRD D3GREE, your best performance and best reaction from the crowd! I loved it, I want to download it and put it as my ringtone."

Next we'll see the Top 6 become 5 when we lose another contestant from the competition. Returning to The X Factor stage is last year’s contestant Nathaniel Willemse performing his brand new single You plus UK singer James Blunt.

Week in week out Dammi has performed accordingly to her Mentor Dani's coaching, despite her classical musical training Dammi has proven her versatility with ballads, rock songs, contemporary hits out of her comfort zone...she has delivered without fuss. However it is clear that being an Asian Australian with a huge musical talent, she will most probably NOT win as she does not meet the profile desired by Ch7,Sony and other sponsors ie a white Aussie face, this would de extremely shortsighted as Dammi Im has a HUGE potential for the millions in the S.Korean,Asian market and be a megastar the likes of Gangnam Psy,this would be a bid loss to her fans in Australia!

I got my votes in.Under 18 years olds should be banned from the vote. They know nothing about music ans saved many a poor act and put many good acts on the brink. That is why it should be left to the judges for voting and deciding.I hope eventually this format will change but I know it won't the producers are making plenty of money out of the vote. The rewards are peanuts compared to what these guys are making and they don't care who wins regardless. Dami ,stand strong and what ever happens know you are the best and head and shoulders above the rest and the majority of viewers know it.

I am a musician (own a recording studio) qnd have travelled the world as a lead Bassist, and been at it for a long long time, so i normally don't go near this #$%$ for a whole LOT of reasons, but i gotta tell you, Dami is something else, never have i seen such a talent come from no-where like this, it doesn't matter if the 13 year olds don't vote for her, she is set for life. I would GLADLY work with her. Would be honoured.

I just like to forward a comment from Youtube. I fully agree with QG. You cannot fail Dami!!! Quinneme G 38 minutes ago If they let Dami be Dami this week, she would kill other contestants and that would defeat the fundamental purpose of the show - Competition. So they let Dami be Redfoo this week, and let all others be themselves (Again). If Dami can tackle on songs like Clarity, Best of You...why didn't give Taylor a challenge song like "Smells like teen spirit" or Omar "Love on Top" or Jai.....nah forget it. Sorry boys you are all very likable but you sung the same tone every week. Love You Dami!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dami is the best singer on X Factor. She makes all the others sound so unprofessional. She has the ability to sing whatever has been given to her. Go Dami.

Dami- you are the best and you have a fantastic mentor. You deserve to be XFactor .Don't worry what people say about your background and ethnicity. Ignore the ignorant people.

Taylor you rock. I know Dami is good but the advertising for the show should be for all the contestants not just be a promo for Dami.

Did not like Demi's take on that song. Was a little weak! I say if you can't top the original, don't do it. Demi is great but she didn't do the song justice tonight.

Dami, you're absolutely a fantastic performer, a successful popup talent. You should be the only winner of this X Factor.
