Foo forced to farewell Ellie Lovegrove

The X Factor said goodbye to its first Under 24 Female contestant when Ellie Lovegrove left the competition.

Ellie was sent home in this season's first deadlock decision after a showdown with Swedish brothers JTR who have faced the bottom two twice in two weeks.

Losing his first contestant, Ellie’s mentor Redfoo said, “Ellie is a true champion and a fighter. She always gave 100% and she just got better and better. Ellie needs to keep doing what she's doing and is beautiful.”

Ellie said, “I've had the most amazing time on the show and am so grateful for the opportunity. Working with Redfoo has been so much fun and this won't be the last you see of me.”

Next, the remaining eight finalists will be rocking out as they hit the stage for 'Rock Week.'

Having watched X Factor and similar shows for many years I made an observation that Aussies don't vote for artists with unnatural hair colors certainly not bright red, as Ellie.

I think the right person went home this week, did not like the way Ellie sang that song

RedFoo screwed up & cost Ellie any chance with bad song choices & the unnatural hair color. Aussies don't vote for #$%$s.

once again this ronan has used this young child to stay in the game ....he has used the good nature of the Australian public and their Ahhhhhhh factor and soft spots to keep Jai in the game ....there is no way Jai will make it just look at when he first auditioned shy likable boy ...Now he has attitude and whats to be this hip hop kid ....people we are distroying a fine young lad let him go and come back when he is bigger and more mature .. Ronan should be brought to task

I wish the audience would shut up when the judges vote - it's immature and distracting.
