Samantha Jade returns and Adira-Belle say goodbye

Winner of The X Factor 2012 Samantha Jade returned to the stage tonight performing her smash-hit Firestarter, global superstar Jessie J also performed her song It’s My Party.

On the first Live Decider, the X Factor said farewell to Natalie Bassingthwaighte’s group Adira-Belle.

The girl group have entertained Australia with their spunk and attitude from auditions all the way through to their performance of Beyonce’s Run The World (Girls).'

Adira-Belle were in the bottom two with Dannii Minogue's Barry Southgate, who the judges saved after both sang to stay in the competition.

Temy, Naomie, Evelyn and Kia said of their X Factor experience, “We’ve had the most amazing time on the show and obviously so sad to be the first to leave but we’ve got more to give so Australia better be ready.”

Adira-Belle's mentor, Natalie Bassingthwaighte’s said, “Adira-Belle are brilliant and I can’t believe they have been sent home. This won’t be the end for the girls, they are so talented.”

Next week, the remaining 11 finalists will perform “Legends” with the contestants taking on songs from the biggest names in music.

It was a shock to me and my sister, it was a shame and disappointing to see this group go, I am sure it has a bit of politic in it, because they are black, it proved that some of our viewers are pretty backward. I love the show, but when it come to final I gave up watching it, there are always too many unfair dismissal, the show need a better solution when it comes to Final. So Adira-Belle, we really love you, keep up the good work, you will do much better without this show.

I really don't like the guy! He is so insincere, and was smiling when talking about his Aunty who died and didn't miss a beat 'putting on a show'! Even the way he is thanking the judges at the end of the clip shows his lack of humbleness in victory! He should have been consoling the girls!?

It isn't surprising that Dami is still on and Adira-Belle is out. There's a lot of politics going on with all these talent shows and ratings. Firstly, this show, Ex-Factor, is about popularity contest and Dami will go far as most industry is trying to appeal to the Asian market. Besides, Asians have the numbers here in Australia compared to the Blacks (coloured people). How many black people are in Australia to vote for Adira-Belle? The answer is, very few. Statistically, only a handful of winners of these talent shows have gone out making it and breaking sales records. A lot of contestants who didn't come first have excelled over and above expectation. Timomatic is a good example. So Adira-Belle shouldn't lose faith. They have the exposure already. They should make good use of it. Kola

Today it is not about the singers it is the personality. Singers today can have the sound they prefer to have as the machines today available are incredible and can give the required vocal affect that is asked of.

It would be wonderful and the rating would excel if we as the viewers, watchers and listeners saw and heard less of the so called JUDGES. They spoil it for all and they may be strictly and only entertainers but I am sure Australia has better to host the show

That was a very difficult first song for Natalie to pick for anyone even those girls who are good singers... had she picked a less challenging song vocally I think those girls would've stayed

More bad grammar from yahoo. Adira-Belle is one group and you should have written "doesn't" have the X factor, and not "don't".
