Bring On The Grand Final!

It's been a night of high emotion, filled with tears of joy and tears of despair, but at long last we have our final three!

The final four kicked tonight's result show off in style with a barnstorming medley of Fleetwood Mac hits (watch it here), in a doff of the cap to this week's guest mentor Stevie Nicks who also performed later in the night (check out her masterful performance here).

Stunning performances from Florence and the Machine (click to watch)and Ed Sheeran (click to watch) bookended the main drama of the night: the results.

After Andrew and Johnny had already been confirmed as grand finalists, there was a nail-biting wait for both Reece and Three Wishez.

Luke seemed to take an eternity to reveal the result, but eventually he announced that Reece had made the grand final and Three Wishez would have to swallow the bitter pill of defeat.

The group took the news with dignity, as ever-so-shy Joseph eloquently stated that this was only the beginning of their journey.

Many congratulations to Andrew, Johnny and Reece. Commiserations to Three Wishez.

Tune in next week to see who is crowned The X Factor champion 2011!

Check out the thrilling result announcement below.

I'm trying to remember a song that was sung on the grand final just before Guy Sebastian sang his new single. I can't think of what the song is called

Three Wishez out?? Disappointment from Spain. I have lived in Uk for eight years and have been following Xfactor for years. I discovered Three Wishez a few weeks ago on internet and absolutely love them. Really cool group, they fuse together. They are very different. Wrong wrong decision! I am sure they will do well but definitely they deserved to win much more than any other contestant (no comments...) BIg kiss for Tres Deseos (three wishez in spanish) and I hope you reach your dreams!! Maria (Zaragoza, Spain)

You know what gets me is the Judges saying oh it was sad to see 3 wishes go.....well someone had to go......Guy.....you aren't said because you still have two in there......I am quite sure Ronan will accept one of your guys to exit and replace 3 wishes back in. Which one of your two do you want to send home Guy Let me guess: Now you are not to sad about seeing 3 wishes gone!!!

Australia just prove to the world how they are really no good when its comes to showbiz can't be three wishez left over johnny, the dude can't sing at all, donno who going to buy his music if he wins, im from the U.S and this kinda of show over there is really serious and important, but here in Australia it a total joke show, donno who doing the voting? this a about finding a star that will sell records internationally, but i dont think if johnny music will even get to New Zealand before i was anywhere else in the world ...........

If the winner gets a Sony recording contact, who the heck will buy Johnny's! Nice guy, but can't sing, gets by on personality alone with plenty of arrogance to boot. Good luck to Reece & Andrew
