Inside the rescue of dying baby flying foxes

A team of rescuers from Wildlife ARC and WIRES made their way into thick forest to help dying grey-headed flying foxes. All people shown in the video are registered carers and been vaccinated against Lyssavirus. Members of the public who encounter a sick or injured bats should not handle it, and instead contact a registered wildlife rescue group or vet.
