The exact details of his exit are being kept confidential by Network Ten.
Anthony Mundine has become the second contestant to leave I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here jungle after just two weeks in the competition.
The 42-year-old quit the show on Thursday morning with his departure to air on the show on tonight.
The exact details of his exit are being kept confidential by Network Ten. However, NewsCorp reports he had just completed the Viper Room challenge before he exited.
Mundine posted on Facebook confirming the news stating he had achieved everything he set out to achieve when he joined the show less than two weeks ago.
"Hey everyone! No doubt you have seen the headlines by now that I have left the jungle," he wrote. "It was an incredible experience but I miss my family and feel like I have accomplished everything I wanted to do. I did all but one of the trials (which I couldn't compete in because of my foot) and met some great people and went out with a bang on an epic trial that you will see tonight."
"Thanks for the supporting me on the show & make sure you watch me go out with a bang !! See you all back home."
Mundine is the second celebrity to quit the show after tennis player Bernard Tomic made his high profile exit after just two nights in the jungle.
The boxer has recently made controversial comments before and during his time in the African jungle.
