After moving to Melbourne and studying music at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts, Axle auditioned and got a spot on the rst series of ‘Australian Idol’ in 2003.
He then hosted ‘Video Hits’ from 2004- 2006, which became the highest rating music show on Australian TV. Following Video Hits, Axle decided to concentrate on his music and released his debut album in 2008.
In 2009, Axle joined the Seven Network’s hit show ‘Home and Away’ and was with the program until 2013. During this time, he also hosted Seven’s series ‘World’s Strictest Parents’.
Following ‘Home and Away’, Axle moved to Los Angeles where he landed roles in the US series ‘Shameless’ and ‘Marvels Agents of Shield’.
Axle splits his time between LA and Australia and when the opportunity came to host the Australian version of ‘The Wall,’ he jumped at the chance saying, “While living in America, I’ve became a massive fan of the US version. The Wall is about giving good people, great opportunities. To be the Australian host, blows me away!
“Australia has never seen anything like this. The chance to win millions in one hour is going to have people on the edge of their seats, guaranteed!”
