This challenge will see him take on the summit of Gran Paradiso that stands at over 4000m.
How did you get involved?
"I met Rick Parish at the Telethon weekend in 2012 and was inspired by his enthusiasm and passion for the adventurers. The Telethon Adventurers continue to achieve amazing fundraising totals and those dollars go directly to where they can make a difference."
Why is this cause so important to you?
"When anyone asks me ‘what is important to you?’ My answer is always ‘our children’. The fact is, children are our future, and cancer is their worst enemy.
Being part of the Telethon Adventurers allows me the opportunity to play my part in the war against childhood cancer.
Together we will find a cure by making a difference - one adventure at a time.
I am proud to be ambassador for the Telethon Adventurers and encourage you all to put on your adventure boots and join me."
Who are the Telethon Adventurers?
The Telethon Adventurers are a group of people dedicated to finding the cause and ultimately the cure for childhood cancer.
They are embarking on a new fundraising year and are determined to beat the total of $1.8 million that we distributed to our beneficiaries in 2012.
