The Labour Day march was led by the premier, alongside his daughter, and Treasurer Cameron Dick, Industrial Relations Minister Grace Grace and the Queensland Council of Unions.

Multiple unions joined the march, chanting: “What do you do if workers; rights are under attack, stand up and fight back”.

Crowds of pro-Palestine protesters descended on the march, many waving Palestinian flags and holding signs which read “stop the genocide”.
