Fans were left wishing someone else left the South African jungle.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans have been left angry over Wednesday night's elimination, with many saying they believe there's someone else who should have been sent home.

Stephen K Amos left the show after going up against Sky Wheatley and Tristan MacManus, with many fans sharing their heartbreak over his elimination on social media. Interestingly, the votes broke records for the show, as fans voted the most in the 24-hour period than they ever have before.

Many also couldn't help but notice that there was someone else who has continued to escape elimination throughout the competition – Brittany Hockley.

"Don’t get me wrong," one user began. "Brittany seems like a nice enough person, but she hadn’t really done anything of interest until there [were] less people in the camp to focus on."

"None of the celebs that have been voted out think Brittany will win so let's stop voting her!" another said.

"I love Brittany and I’m glad she’s still there but I’m actually shocked she’s still in over Khanh [Ong] and Stephen," a third said. "I expected her to get like 7th place or something."

"Wow, really thought Brittany would be leaving," someone else said. "I don’t find her as authentic as the others.

"Brittany continually avoiding the bottom 3 is baffling. Forget the Senate enquiry into the supermarkets, this needs to be gotten to the bottom of," another joked.

Stephen broke down in tears as he left camp, saying, "Just being able to be vulnerable in front of other people and be honest, be able to speak your truth, which you rarely get to do. In my job, you just make people laugh all the time.

"It was really nice to sit down with a group of people, there's mutual respect, they have their listening ears on, and you can just talk with no judgement."

He added that he'd learned a lot about himself on the show, "I learnt a lot about myself as a human being, which I didn't expect, I've learnt patience, I've learnt solace, I've learnt how to live without my mobile phone."

Stephen was the last single elimination, from Thursday night there will be double eliminations.

The last contestants standing are Brittany, Callum Hole, Sky Wheatley, Tristan MacManus and Ellie Cole.
