Aussie woman slams OnlyFans saying she 'regrets' her decision to use X-rated platform

Ainslie made $10k in three months but warned others it's easy to lose boundaries... plus, you may discover some snooping coworkers.

An Aussie woman has opened up about how she regrets using OnlyFans to make money, warning other women to reconsider some points before diving into making content on the X-rated adult platform.

Ainslie Gardiner made a TikTok that is nearly sitting at 50k views, where she explains she jumped on OnlyFans in a bid to help facilitate her dream of moving overseas — but she said while some creators make it look easy, and brag about earning the big bucks, people who wanted to jump on the platform should consider the hours that go into making it big.

"I did OF (OnlyFans) and I regret it badly," she said in the video. "I'm really outing myself here but maybe this video will help some people."

Ainslie went on to explain she did OnlyFans for three months and said there are a few things people should consider before doing it.

"Are you willing to put in the time to do this?" she asked. "Are you willing to be cringe? And also setting boundaries for yourself, because it's so easy to start getting some money and just going past what you're actually comfortable with."

"Anna Paul and all these creators glamorise OF and a lot of young girls think it's going to be easy to make money, but in reality, if you don't have a following, it's a f***ing grind."

Ainslie went on to say you have to be across all social media platforms, and talking to people consistently to build up a following. "It's a full time job in itself," she said, saying she was working at the time and struggling to fit it into her day.

"You will do some f***ing cringey-ass s**t," she continued, saying she signed with an agency towards the end of her OnlyFans stint. "They kinda took all rights of my OF and they were making me do some cringey TikToks, that did just not sit right with me, so I think after doing that I was like, 'this is actually not who I am'."

Ainslie then said she did OnlyFans from the end of April through to early August and made $10,000 AUD, and said she made that money only doing OF "part-time" in an effort to move overseas, but she wishes she thought about it much harder than she did because she ultimately regrets her decision.

"Also don't be surprised if people that you know sign up to your OF," she said. "I think I got maybe 120 subscribers in the time I did it, and you'd be surprised, a lot of them are people you used to work with, people that you used to go to school with..."

"Don't always believe things you are seeing online. All of these people on TikTok are doing these cringey videos to go viral, and you're falling for it and you are sharing it, you're commenting on it, and you're making these videos go viral, and they're killing it, they're making a lot of f***ing money because people are curious."

The TikTok was met with a lot of comments, with people thanking Ainslie for the advice and some other women agreeing with her.

"Completely agree with this! I also massively regret it.. not worth it at all," one woman agreed. "Fantastic advice!! We ONLY see the fantasy of $$ and glamour online but never the real-world grind of a regular person in this type of business. Having people I know subscribe would freak me out," another person commented.

"I think is great you are sharing such an honest viewpoint and obvious self-reflection. Hope you're not beating yourself up and moving on bigger and better," one person said. "Thank you for speaking out and warning other people. Ignore the mean words. I know you have helped some young girls out there," someone else commented.
