Satirist Compares Coronavirus to Zombie Apocalypse in Tongue-in-Cheek Song Telling People to Stay Home

An Australian satirist has composed another catchy song to remind people of the importance of social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic, this time comparing the virus to a zombie apocalypse.

Martin Ingle, from Brisbane, released his first coronavirus tune – Don’t Touch Your Face – in March, and has followed it up with a new song called Imagine You’re a Zombie.

The tongue-in-cheek song, with lyrics such as “you’re a zombie, who doesn’t know he’s bit, and it takes two weeks to even realize you’re sick,” was posted to Facebook on April 3, and highlights the necessity of self-isolation. Credit: Martin Ingle via Storyful
