A rainbow was seen in the skies above Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, on August 3 as the area was hit by Hurricane Isaias.

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) announced that the storm made landfall near Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina at around 11:30 pm on August 3, with wind speeds of up to 85 miles per hour.

Strong winds, heavy rainfall and a risk of tornadoes were forecast for the Carolinas and other states along the East Coast on Monday night through Tuesday, the NHC said. Credit: NYSC2018 via Storyful
