Police Make Arrests During Union Square Protest Over Death of George Floyd

At least 40 protesters were reportedly arrested during protests at Union Square in New York on May 28.

The protests were sparked after a video circulated on social media showed Minneapolis police officers pinning Floyd to the ground, one having his knee on the man’s neck. Floyd was later pronounced dead following the incident.
