Paramedic Frees Skunk With Head Stuck in Coffee Cup on Ontario Roadside

Paramedics in Ontario pulled over to rescue a skunk with its head stuck inside of a disposable coffee cup, footage posted to Facebook on July 29 shows.

Video shared by Simcoe County Paramedics of OPSEU shows paramedic Katelyn Knaap carefully pulling the cup from the critter’s head.

The clip was shot by Knaap’s colleague, Mary Schermel.

According to the post, the pair were driving in Innisfil when they spotted the skunk on the side of the road and pulled over to assist it.
