Israeli Traffic Cam Captures Moment of Rocket Impact

A traffic camera captured the moment a rocket impacted on a highway near Gan Yavne in Israel on Tuesday, November 12, as a number of vehicles drove by.

Seth Frantzman, a journalist at the scene, tweeted that one person was “lightly injured” as a result of the strike.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that approximately 50 rockets had been launched from Gaza on Tuesday, 20 of which were intercepted by its Iron Dome defense network.

The rockets were launched in response to an Israeli strike on Gaza overnight which Israel said targeted Baha Abu al-Atta, the leader of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Palestinian media reports said that al-Atta and his wife were killed in the strike. Credit: Netivei Israel via Storyful
