Indianapolis Authorities Search for Man Who Set Street on Fire

Fire investigators in Indiana are seeking the public’s help to identity an arson suspect after a man poured accelerant along the street for two blocks in Wayne Township before lighting it on fire on Tuesday, September 17.

According to officials, the fire department responded to reports of a small hazmat spill on Lyons Avenue, Indianapolis. When firefighters arrived, they found a small fire burning on the road.

While firefighters were investigating, the arson suspect returned to the scene and tried to re-light the fire.
