Flag Flaps in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, as Nor'easter Nears

The tri-state area braced for a nor’easter on October 16 as heavy winds and rain hit New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Forecasters said the storm was a “bomb cyclone” that would stretch along the East Coast from Maine to North Carolina.

According to NJ.com, a flash flood watch was issued for multiple parts of New Jersey on October 16, with South Jersey expected to received an inch of rain, Central Jersey getting 1.5 to 2 inches, and North Jersey – where Basking Ridge lies – receiving up to 3 inches.
