Aerial Firefighters Protect Homes From Utah Blaze Sparked by Fireworks

Waterbombing aircraft dumped fire retardant near homes in Washington County, Utah, on July 14 as crews battled an uncontained blaze that authorities believed was started by teenagers using fireworks.

By the Tuesday evening, the so-called Turkey Farm Road Fire had spread to nearly 12,000 acres after making “significant runs throughout the day driven by wind and terrain”, Utah fire officials said.
