Curfews, mask mandates and stay-at-home orders: Experts weigh in on the best ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19

The U.S. set a grim new record last week with 481,372 new cases of COVID-19 in seven days, more than any other week since the pandemic began. Still, the main prevention methods in cities nationwide seem to be mask mandates, stay-at-home orders and in some cities a curfew. Now, as experts warn of another peak, they are also addressing which prevention tactics are the most effective.
