SEAN HANNITY: All right. So I've been saying all along throughout the pandemic, COVID-19, essential employees all across America, they never stopped working. Masks, PPE-- it kept them safe. And I was right here in the epicenter, and every store I went to, everybody was wearing their masks. But thankfully, my grocery store, nobody got COVID-19.

- Just one day after President Trump broke with his months-long resistance to mask-wearing, and as coronavirus cases continue to spike across the US, on Thursday night, Fox News aired a public service announcement with Sean Hannity encouraging viewers to wear masks.

SEAN HANNITY: So what did I learn? I don't have a problem wearing a mask, especially if it means we can go to a ball game or to defend grandma, grandpa, mom, and dad. That's why I choose to do it.

- It wasn't long ago that Trump mocked Joe Biden for wearing a mask on Memorial Day, as did Hannity's Fox News colleague, Brit Hume. But Hannity admonished Memorial Day revelers for not taking proper precautions.

SEAN HANNITY: There's no mask wearing here that I see, not much at all. I see no social distancing. But if they get the virus and then are in contact with older and more vulnerable Americans, that could be a disaster for others. That's why in the short period of time, it's only temporary, you can't social distance, please wear the mask.
