Obama can’t believe he lost to Colbert in 'waste basket-ball': 'How am I gonna live this down?'

Out promoting his new book A Promised Land, former president Barack Obama joined The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Tuesday night where Colbert challenged him to a game of “waste basket-ball.” Obama was just a bit overconfident before starting, waving off the opportunity to take practice shots when Colbert offered. The former president made headlines recently when he drained a three point shot while campaigning for now President-Elect Joe Biden, then walked away saying, “That’s what I do.” But that’s not what he did on this day. Not even close. Obama struggled to even make one as Colbert drained eight. At one point making four in a row to win 8-0.

When it was all over and Colbert was anything but gracious in victory, Obama said, “I’ve lost my swag on Stephen Colbert.”

- Woo!

BARACK: I didn't even hit one. How am I going to live this down?
