Gloria Steinem and Bette Midler remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg

The cast and crew of the movie “The Glorias” reflect on the death of Supreme Court Justice and trailblazer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG). Gloria Steinem, who knew RBG very well and considered her a friend, told Yahoo Entertainment, “She was a huge figure in all of our lives.” Steinem hopes to keep RBG’s legacy alive by asking, “What would Ruth do? What would Ruth say? And if each of us does that she will still be with us.” One of the things Steinem will always remember about her friend is her sense of humor. RBG is mentioned in “The Glorias” film available to stream on Amazon Prime Sept. 30. Director Julie Taymor says RBG was the “demanding voice of change and equality.” Bette Midler, who plays Bella Abzug in the movie, believes we all need to follow RBG’s example. “I am grateful to her,” she says. “I think the entire nation should be grateful to her.”
