‘Bachelorette’ cast member who infamously got a tattoo for Ali Fedotowsky has no regrets

Kasey Kahl gained notoriety on season six of "The Bachelorette" when he got a tattoo in order to prove to Ali Fedotowsky that he was sincere. And on Monday’s "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons -- Ever!" he revealed he’s still got the ink ten years later and it’s better than ever. Ten years ago, Kasey shocked Ali and the other suitors when he revealed he got a large tattoo of a shield and rose on his wrist. At the time he explained, “I’ve got the shield protecting the heart and I’ve got the rose because, you know what, no matter what happens I want to guard and protect her heart.” Kasey still has the tattoo, but it has been slightly modified. “I got my wife and I’s anniversary day, wedding anniversary, which is coming up five years, right above the tattoo,” said Kasey proudly. “Now it means even more to me than I could imagine, so I’m very thankful for it.” Many fans could not believe Kasey still had the tattoo and modified it for his wife. Ali appeared later on the program, but when asked about the tattoo she admitted pales in comparison to another gift Kasey gave her. “It’s funny, the tattoo I don’t remember as much, it’s the singing I really remember,” said the former Bachelorette. She was referring to the impromptu song that Kasey sang to her after they went on a helicopter ride together. “The only thing I was thinking was, anything I could get into my head to not laugh,” she told Chris Harrison. “Like, ‘Just don’t laugh. Take deep breaths. Just don’t laugh.’” Kasey is happily married to Amanda Kahl and they have a beautiful baby boy named Kiptyn.

- Let's see it.

KASEY KAHL: Can you see that? Can you see the addition [INAUDIBLE]?

- You've added a little something to it.

KYLIE MAR: Kasey Kahl gained notoriety on season six of "The Bachelorette" when he got a tattoo in order to prove to Ali Fedotowsky that he was sincere. And on Monday's "Bachelor-- The Greatest Seasons Ever," he revealed he still got the ink 10 years later. And it's better than ever.

KASEY KAHL: I got my wife's and my anniversary day, or [INAUDIBLE] anniversary, which is coming up on five years right about the tattoo. Now it means even more to me than I could even imagine. So I'm very thankful for it.

KYLIE MAR: Fans could not believe that Kasey kept the tattoo. And many more were shocked to learn that he turned it into a tattoo for his wife with one fan tweeting, "wow, he kept the tattoo and put his and his wife's anniversary date on top, a little cringe. But you do you." But surprisingly, when Ali was asked about his tattoo later in the show, she admitted it was actually another gift from Kasey that she remembers most.

ALI FEDOTOWSKY: It's funny. The tattoo is almost a thing that I don't remember as much. It's the singing that I really remember. The only thing I was thinking at that moment was anything I could get into my head to not laugh, just don't laugh, take deep breaths, just don't laugh.

KYLIE MAR: Even though Kasey didn't end up getting a rose, at least he left on a high note.

KASEY KAHL: (SINGING) At the end of tonight, I am not just your average Joe. But I hope in my hindsight, I'll see and find a rose. Yeah, that's pretty intense stuff.
