Taylor Swift’s style evolution: From cowboy boots to sexy minidresses

Taylor Swift has been serving some serious fashion moments for more than a decade. In 2006, she walked one of her first red carpets rocking cowboy boots and cute curls. She stepped into the spotlight as a true country darling. As her music gained popularity, Swift’s style also gained attention. She traded in her comfy boots for fashion labels like Versace and J. Mendel. At the 2009 MTV VMAs, she was able to “Shake It Off” in style, when Kanye West famously rushed the stage and interrupted her during her acceptance speech. The singer wore a stunning one-shoulder KaufmanFranco dress like a boss! Through the years she’s become a fan of minidresses, sparkle and the color gold. At the 2013 American Music Awards, Swift turned heads in a strapless, metallic Julien Macdonald mini. We’ve also seen her show off her legs in a Mary Katrantzou romper — talk about a show-stopper. Her Versace color-block look at the 2016 Grammys is one of those sexy outfits that will never be forgotten. Check out the video about for more of Swift’s fashion history.
