Song List: Legends Week!

MJ, The Beatles, Whitney Houston... it wouldn’t be Legends Week at The X Factor without tunes by some of the biggest names the music biz has ever seen!

Here is the full list of tonight’s legendary tracks:

Nathaniel Willemse - “The Scientist” (Coldplay)
Samantha Jade - “Run to You” (Whitney Houston)
The Collective - “A Hard Day’s Night” (The Beatles)
Fourtunate - “Easy Lover” (Phil Collins)
Shiane Hawke - “Piece of My Heart” (Janis Joplin)
Bella Ferraro - “Ray of Light” (Madonna)
Angel Tupai - “Dirty Diana” (Michael Jackson)
Jason Owen - “Dancing in the Dark” (Bruce Springsteen)

Carmelo Munzone - “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” (The Police)

Our Top 9 will have their work cut out for them when they step on stage tonight, but if their rehearsals are anything to go by then they’re certainly up to the task.

Hi guys! Loved Jason's take on Bruce Springsteen's 'Dancing in the Dark' - fantastic!! Also love the Collective but didn't like their song or outfits this week - this is Ronan's responsibility; not theirs. So sorry Justin has gone too :( Really fantastic singer with a winning smile !!

Well best song for the night was so not a song by legends Coldplay are far from being legends, the rest yes where songs by legends but the songs where far from the best songs the legends ever sang, being honest the whole night was total rubbish due to terrible songs.

I think Bella should sing "Midnight at the Oasis" by Maria Maldaur. Classic song and perfect for Bella.

I agree that the song choices are very below par!! I know it is legends but what about giving Jason a C&W song (something from Slim Dusty is even better than Bruce!!). Really not playing to the artists strengths. I truely believe that they have put so much money and time into "The Collective" that the other artists really dont matter and are just 'toys' until The Collective win and sell albums. Frustrating to watch.... which is why I wont be!

Nathaniel should be top of heap this week - a great song choice for a great upcoming artist.
