It's been a night of high emotion, filled with tears of joy and tears of despair, but at long last we have our final three!
The final four kicked tonight's result show off in style with a barnstorming medley of Fleetwood Mac hits (watch it here), in a doff of the cap to this week's guest mentor Stevie Nicks who also performed later in the night (check out her masterful performance here).
Stunning performances from Florence and the Machine (click to watch)and Ed Sheeran (click to watch) bookended the main drama of the night: the results.
After Andrew and Johnny had already been confirmed as grand finalists, there was a nail-biting wait for both Reece and Three Wishez.
Luke seemed to take an eternity to reveal the result, but eventually he announced that Reece had made the grand final and Three Wishez would have to swallow the bitter pill of defeat.
The group took the news with dignity, as ever-so-shy Joseph eloquently stated that this was only the beginning of their journey.
Many congratulations to Andrew, Johnny and Reece. Commiserations to Three Wishez.
Tune in next week to see who is crowned The X Factor champion 2011!
Check out the thrilling result announcement below.

I'm trying to remember a song that was sung on the grand final just before Guy Sebastian sang his new single. I can't think of what the song is called

ReplyThree Wishez out?? Disappointment from Spain. I have lived in Uk for eight years and have been following Xfactor for years. I discovered Three Wishez a few weeks ago on internet and absolutely love them. Really cool group, they fuse together. They are very different. Wrong wrong decision! I am sure they will do well but definitely they deserved to win much more than any other contestant (no comments...) BIg kiss for Tres Deseos (three wishez in spanish) and I hope you reach your dreams!! Maria (Zaragoza, Spain)
