The first live results show was kicked off by the finalists in swinging style thanks to the party-pumping tunes of Pink.
The high-octane performance added vigour to the already electric atmosphere inside the studio.
Up next was Bryan Adams singing the legendary smash 'Baby When You’re Gone', the track that originally stormed the charts in 1998 when he sang it as a duet with Mel B’s old mucker Sporty Spice.
It was then time for the dreaded results.
As the lights dimmed in the studio, Luke began to read out the names of the ten acts who’d been voted through to next week.
After the end of a nail biting roll-call only Cleo and Jacqui remained.
Up first to sing for survival was Cleo, taking on Adele’s 'Chasing Pavements', followed by Jacqui’s rendition of Gossip's 'Heavy Cross'.
After Guy had opted to send Cleo home, and Mel and Nat had predictably saved their own acts, it was down to Ronan to cast the deciding vote.
Impressed by Jacqui’s passion during the final showdown, Ronan elected to make Cleo the first casualty of the series.Copyright © 2013 Yahoo!7

I agree with Mel B that Johnny Ruffo can not dance and sing. There is a lot of profession out there and to be the butt of the joke on national tv is not fun at all.....poor thing, it hurts my eyes and ears when I watch him perform.
ReplyX Factor is about Guy Sebastian's big fat conceited ego
ReplyI thought X factor was about the singer not the mentor, disappointing that Natalie and Guy didn't really pick singers with the x factor, Marina deserved to be in the top 3 Natalie!!!! I stopped watching x factor when the right people were not put through. Besides Natalie you had a few hit songs....what makes youa good mentor?
