i love coronation street, but there only 1 problem, im deaf and there no subtitles. also would be great to add in east enders too :) but most of it, need subtitle badly!!
ReplyYes, Emily is right. Corrie & Shortland are definitely back on the 16th. I do not think 7two realised how popular Corrie was so the reaction to their axing must have taken them by surprise.
ReplyGood news. I've just checked the program schedule for 7Two for next week on my tv and Shortland Street, Coronation Street and Emmerdale are all there beginning Monday 16th at their usual times of 9.30, 10.00 and 10.30 - So all Short, Corrie and Emmer fans get ready.
ReplyYay! It's back in the schedule on Monday 16th at 10am along with Shortland and Emmerdale. And yea we are watching episodes from about April/May 2004. And I hope it stays that way, I've become attached to the current cast and story lines, and whenever I see it on UKTV everyone is 8 years older so its weird or they are gone and telhe storylines just aren't the same Bring on next week, can't wait any longer been the worst 2 weeks with no daily Corrie
ReplyWe are about 7yrs behind the UK with Coronation Sreet. Some of the characters no longer exist. On a recent trip back I had to ask who each new (to me) character was. and what happened to previous ones. There again, I would rather watch 7yr old episodes than non at all.
ReplyWho the hell is in charge of channel 7 programs over Christmas New Year holiday period? They have made a real stuff up by taking off Coronation Street and Emmerdale and replacing it with rubbish. They should be removed from their position with channel 7 and severely reprimanded. We want Coronation Street and Emmerdale back as soon as possible. If I were buying advertising time I would cancel until both programs were brought back because no one watched the rubbish they were replaced by.
ReplyToo true Chris. My thoughts exactly - why the need to replace Coronation Street and Shortland Street - we could have continued to watch them during the tennis? Channel 10 did this years ago with Santa Barbara and said it was returning but it never did. They remove good real life shows like Coronation Street and Shortland Street and replace them with american rubbish. They say that Coronation Street will return on 16th...... we will wait and see if they keep their word!
ReplyToo true Chris. My thoughts exactly, there was no reason for them to take Coronation Street or Shortland Street off air. Channel 10 did this some years ago with Santa Barbara - took it off and said it would be back later that year - it never returned. So if Coronation street is to return on 16th as Channel 7 say, we begin the waiting game.....
Replyto say they took it off because of he tennis doesn't make sense as they are showing Night Court & Murphy Brown at the times that they used to show Coronation Street & Shortland Street.
ReplyAnyone know what year is the series we were watching ? thanks
