We met five of the finalists in the Weight Watchers “Healthy Life Awards”. As well as reaching their goal weight, the finalists are judged on how their lives have transformed, their behaviour, how they influence other people and their ability to keep the weight off.
The awards are open to any Weight Watchers member in Australia or New Zealand. Each of the finalists has reached their goal weight and will share a prize package worth $100,000.
Among all the entrants in the competition they’ve shed 10 tonnes of weight, and Weight Watchers is donating more than $10,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation - $1 for every kilo lost.
