Following his sell-out season at the Sydney Opera House in December 2008, Jimeoin is taking his acclaimed show “Jimeoin On Ice”on tour.

From the magical world of Jimeoin he is bringing to you his smash hit show – “Jimeoin On Ice” which received a five star review at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008.

Jimeoin is acclaimed as one of the hottest stand-up comics of this generation, a true genius. A prolific writer with an exceptional audience rapport, Jimeoin is known for his brilliantly funny wit and charming observations on the absurdities of every-day life. His skill lies in his impeccable timing. His routines are sustained solely by the most subtle of facial expressions, as he explains the fine line between looking cunning or appearing sleazy, and why our hope is stored below and despair hovers above. With previous sell-out seasons in Montreal, Edinburgh and London, you will not want to miss the brilliance of Jimeoin.

Jimeoin has forged a remarkable comedy career in his adopted homeland, as well as touring the world to critical and commercial acclaim. His regular appearances at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne Comedy Festival, not to mention his widely successful Australian tours always attract sell-out audiences. Equally as well-known in his native Ireland as he is in his adopted homeland, he has an extensive international touring portfolio, including New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and repeat invitations to the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.

In 2005-8, Jimeoin was touring throughout the vast outback regions of Australia as well as playing the major cities and festivals across the land - he became the first comedian to tour totally "over the top" in the country, playing a mix of hotels, theatres, swimming pools, cattle ranches and anywhere that looked a little interesting. This was filmed for a TV series on BBC Ireland called "Jimeoin Down Under".

His 2006 and 2008 seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival smashed box-office records before the festivals even opened.

Jimeoin is one of the very few comedians to have his own show on a national network. And he is also a favourite on International Television having appeared on “Late Nights with Conan O’Brien” and several UK Television guest appearances. Jimeoin has appeared in two feature films “The Craic” and “The Extra” both achieved broad success and have been released internationally.

A keen fisherman and golfer, constant touring enables Jimeoin to enthusiastically experience new outdoor adventures. Never a man to sit still for long, tackling every medium with renewed vigour; he has packed so much into his colourful and humorous career. Jimeoin is also a committed environmentalist.
