Well, Tom and Matt, my favourite team on The Amazing Race Australia, have been eliminated. And while I’m not going to pretend that it wasn’t sad to see them arrive last, the truth is that the three teams that made it to the grand final truly deserved their spots.
What this proves is that, at this point on the race, it is really anyone’s game.
After a few less than stellar performances on the previous episodes, it was good to see Sam and Renae back on their feet and arriving in first place – even after the 20 minute penalty they shared with Tyler and Nathan for using private transport.
And after basically helping every other team in the race, the fact that Jeff and Luke made it to the final went on to show that, sometimes, good guys don’t finish last.
On one hand, I can’t wait for next week’s final, which I’m sure will be an adrenaline-packed ride. On the other, I’m so not looking forward to the wait for season two!6 DAYS TO GO! Sneak peek -> http://t.co/jH49aqfy #amazingraceau
