If we are angry , its probably because we are watching the home we love being given away to others who both dont understand it and dont love it like we do. Not many australian born people can afford to live happily while we watch those 'others' being given massive handouts that they dont even have a right to. immigrants who come here legally arent given the time of day , let alone huge handouts, those that get in illegally are treated like injured gods. They are not gods. they are criminals. Then they get out on the roads, cant speak or read a word of english but they are allowed to drive ? My father came from Italy many years ago. He got a good job straight away and worked at that job all his life. He took out citizenship as soon as was possible. He has NEVER been in trouble with the law. He is now a self funded retiree. He cant get ANY government help at all. Not even a health care card. Im watching him become angy and bitter as he feels he's been simply forgotten because he made it by his self. Its true, he has.

Part of this is less appropriate discipline in raising children, teaching consequences for the demanding actions, as well as laziness in Parenting (it's harder to make your child sit and eat their vegies than give in). This has led to a more selfish generation overall (child gets what they want, parents sit back). Selfishness then leads to being inconsiderate of others. If more people acted by respecting others, there would be less frustation for all...and then less anger.

kids also follow what their parents do/act. if those who choose to be abusive to others well then the kids think its ok for them to act that way at school/work later on. whats wrong with old fashioned fun, out in the street with the neighbours kids bikes skateboards. cricket and let them be kids and have fun. if parents stopped interfering in the kids life there be a lot less arguements between neighbours and friends.

of course we are getting angry. how times have changed parents working odd hours/days and shifts. kids from birth in childcare so wrong you have them you look after them. families are so disfunctional today, most modern try to be posh parents with brand name things cant even cook toast or boil an egg. kids feel the pressure parents fighting. bring back the old ways. take time with your kids do things with them no fancy toys just get them to make their own fun at home. its a greedy world parents want more fancy stuff keeping up with the jones's. back in the day we layby things and had nothing fancy but kids were so much happier.
