Jack Yabsley is a country boy born and bred. As a kid he lived in Enngonia (far west NSW), attended school in Coonabarabran, Parkes and then Kiama. Since he was young Jack knew he wanted to be on kids TV " it was either TV or be a doctor, except I've got a really weak stomach when it comes to blood and guts... so kids TV was it!" After graduating from Charles Sturt University, Bathurst with a degree in Communications - Journalism he soon realised he didn't want to get into serious journalism, so pursued his dream to work in television. Jack's first break was working on Totally Wild as a reporter - also working in documentaries, and guest presenting and segment producing for a few other programs including SCOPE, TTN, and Toasted TV.

While physical co-ordination doesn't come easily to him - Jack loves music and has played the piano for 10 years, and is currently taking harmonica lessons. Jack has developed his strengths in the theatre, including a TV acting course with Australian Theatre for Young People. Like most guys Jack enjoys the live music scene and whenever he can heads off to music festivals to participate in as much air-guitar as possible!

Jack says "I'm pretty much a big kid - I love cartoons and mucking around with my friends, so I'm really exited about joining the Disney House. The girls are fantastic, and I love the opportunity to work with kids and have heaps of fun for a living! I'm a little bit nervous about some of the dares and challenges I might have to face, but I love an adventure, and I'm more than open to making a fool of myself!"

With a passion for the beach and scuba diving, Jack is also an ambassador for National Parks Marine - who promote the introduction of secure marine reserves around Australia to protect native species of marine life.

Jack Yabsley. 6th October.

Where are you from?

I was born in Bourke, lived in Enngonia, Parkes, Coonabarabran, Kiama and Bathurst. Phew!

How did you get to be a host on Saturday Disney?

Dan asked me to come live at the house so he could head off on a huge camping adventure.

What's your favourite cartoon on the show and why?

For me it's all about American Dragon and Kim Possible. I like action cartoons.

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?

Ron Stoppable from Kim Possible - he's a geek and I am too!

What's the most fun you've had doing a segment?

Doing a hot lap in a V8 Supercar was awesome, so was gelato making. I ate soooo much!

What's the best thing about your job?

I get to be silly for a living and hang out with Sally, Shae, and heaps of cool kids.

Who's the best celebrity you've met while at Saturday Disney?

Jessica Alba - my future wife!

If you could interview one person, who would it be and why?

John Farnham - I'm sort of obsessed with him - or Cameron Diaz - she's a babe.

Do you play or watch sports?

I am severely unco when it comes to sports, but I still love them, and I like to watch AFL and Rugby League. Go the Tigers!

What sort of music do you like?

Rock, soul and jazz are my favourites, but I do like a bit of everything, as long as you can sing along (badly!)

What's the craziest thing you've had to do on the show?

Interviewing Jessica Alba while I was dressed in a lycra unitard was pretty crazy, so was bootscooting my way through a big shopping centre with a boom-box playing country hits!

If you could swap places with anyone in the world for a day, who would that be?

It'd have to be a rock star like Andrew Stockdale who is the lead singer of Wolfmother. I'd love to play a huge arena show like they do.

What are you passionate about?

Music, my friends, my family, food, the environment, and enjoying every little bit of my life.
