What You’ll Need:

- 300g Flour - 300g Salt - Water - Greaseproof paper - Scissors - Paperclip - Pencil

How You Make It:

1. Mix the flour, salt and a little bit of water together in a bowl until you get a light dough consistency.

2. Grab a chopping board and sprinkle some flour on top. Now knead your dough on it.

3. Take your greaseproof paper and draw onto it whatever shape you’d like your number plate to be. Get a grown-up to help you with the scissors.

4. Now spread some of your dough over the paper shape. This will be your base.

5. Now you need to make your name! Get a grown-up to help you cut the letters of your name out of the leftover dough. Once they are cut place them onto the base, spelling out your name.

6. And don’t forget your paper clip! Stick it into the top of your name plate base as this is what you will use to hang it up.

7. Now you have two options for drying your name plate. You can leave it outside for two days, or you can check with a grown-up and get them to put it in the oven for you for two and a half hours at 150°C.

8. Once it has dried you can paint it! Choose whatever colours or designs you like. Once it is dry then you’re all ready to hang it on your door!
