Be careful with this recipe and make sure you’ve got an adult to help you as you will be using a stovetop.
What You’ll Need:
2 Cups of Flour 2 Cups of Milk 2 Eggs (Beaten) 1/3 Cup Melted Butter 2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder ½ Teaspoon of Salt You can also add fruit into the mixture if you like – bananas, strawberries and blueberries are delicious! Also you could add chocolate if you make them for a tasty dessert!
How You Make Them:
1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Make sure there’s no dry bits and it’s all combined well.
2. Place your mixture into a jug, so it’s easy to pour!
3. Pour some of the mixture into a hot non-stick frypan. Make sure you have a grown-up help you do this as things can get very hot!
4. Soon you’ll see little bubbles appearing on the top of your pancake. When they start to pop, that means they’ve started to cook through.
5. Time to flip! Use a spatula to lift them up and turn them over. Cook a little longer and put them on a plate to cool a little.
6. Voila! Your pancakes are ready to be eaten! You can add maple syrup, lemon juice, sugar, ice cream, jam, honey – whatever you like. Yum!

Just decided to try out this recipe.. I don't usually add the butter to my pancakes. I have somehow ended up with a giant crumpet haha. (flat on one side, really bubbly on the other and tastes exactly like a crumpet!)
