You’ll need:

- 1 Cup Water - 2 Cups Corn Flour - Green food colouring - A Mixing Bowl

How you make it:

1. Put your corn flour in a bowl 2. Stir the water in with the corn flour slowly 3. Add a drop or two of food colouring.

Once it is mixed together this is where the magic happens! Try stirring the slime quickly and you’ll find it really hard to do. Now try it slowly and you’ll find it is easy, just like water. You can also try hitting it with your hand and your hand won’t even go in! Amazing!

How does it work? It’s all about VISCOSITY. Viscosity is about the thickness that a fluid has. For example, water has a low viscosity and honey has a high viscosity.

So when you move your slime around it has a high viscosity, but leave it alone and it develops a low viscosity. Nobody really knows why it works like that, but it’s a lot of fun to play with!
