What You’ll Need:

- Plate - Plastic Cups - White Vinegar - Bi-carb Soda - Red food colouring - Aluminium Foil

How you put it together:

Because this experiment can get a little messy, it’s probably best you try it outside! - Get a grown up to cut your cup in half so the base is about 5 centimetres high. Now get a piece of sticky tape, attach it to the bottom and stick the cup onto the middle of your plate. - Now cover the plate over completely with foil. Tuck the edges underneath the plate so it is tight. - Poke a hole in the middle of the foil so there is an opening and you can see the cup. This is now your crater! - Now place 1 tablespoon of bicarb soda into the crater followed by 2 tablespoons of water. Stir it together until it dissolves. - Meaure out two tablespoons of vinegar into a separate cup and add in a few drops of red food dye. - Now put the vinegar mixture into the crater and watch your volcano bubble and explode!
