is it really finishing for the year already? It feels like it just came back on not too long ago...

Yeah it annoyed me as well Jessica.

The reason why it seems short is because this season was split by Winners and Losers Season 1.

So there were 6 (from memory) episodes before, and 6 after it ended.

Fully agree though, need more Rafters fix ..

I can't belive they are spliting the season in to parts. I see season 4 (part 1) is on dvd in november.
Why split the season up this year. There has only been 14 episode so far and there is usally 22-23 episode.
That also mean we wont get to see a xmas end like we have for the past 3 seasons.
Really disapointed with Packed to the Rafter. Why slpit it up this year.
Silly why to end the season as Rita and Carbo haven't had there wedding and I really look forward to the xmas ending of the season it's a nice way to end the year.
So disappointed.

Seven are promoting next week's episode of Packed to the Rafters, called "Risky Business " as the season finale despite the fact the episode is in fact episode 15 of a 22 part season

That will leave 7 episodes of season 4 to play in 2012, which will most likley air in the first 7 weeks of 2012 ratings, followed on by seaosn two of Winners and Losers closer to April.

That really peeves me off..

Total disregard by Channel 7 for the fan and the show.

Another thing, Season DVDs in parts are SO DAMN ANNOYING!!!!

Either release the entire season on a DVD box set, or not at all.

That's why we've given up watching it. We loved it from the start, then they put that Winners and Losers on, which we did not watch. Didn't choose to watch Rafters again, especially now that we've found out the final is tonight. It's an absolute joke. Programmers today need their head read. Ironically, they are way overpaid for their brainless decisions.

Channel 7 have won ratings this year already so don't need to keep playing Rafters. They are saving rest of episodes for next year. Pathetic. Not watching it tonight or ever again.

People, people... Quitcher complainin'

We've been huge fans of this show from the beginning. The difference is we have to find a download of it to watch because like you we can't just turn on the TV or DVR it here.

THEY DON'T SHOW IT IN THE USA!

Try real hard to be happy for for what you have and have enjoyed.

The Rafters are the best TV family dramedy anywhere... period.

It might end, for good, with this episode and if it does then we will mourn it's passing. But we have been the better for it having exisited.

Take this from a Yank who sends copies of this show to family and friends each week and wishes they would show ANYTHING this wel done here.

Yeah I'm annoyed too. It seems such a short season. I was just getting into the swing of watching on a Tuesday night and now it's ended. #$%$

Is it just me or did anyone else find the scene with Nathan and that nightclub girl a bit off.? Would a sensible, level headed young bloke like Nathan really take the risk of casual sex with a girl he doesn't even know....in the janitor's closet?? Really.

i was annoyed too, but im not giving up on the show! its been my favourite shows for years, and im that type of person who wont give up on a show, depsite the fact that its been splitted into three sections for this seson

yes there have only been 15 eps aired of s4 so far, but hey, at least weve had season 4, so we should be grateful for that....sto p b*tching, and just accept that, it'll come back on eventualy, and in the meantime, we can all get s4 part 1 on dvd....and we have all the other seasons to watch again on dvd....so quit complaining!!!

Channel 7 has history treating their viewers as mugs. To be fair all the channels are the same. I still haven't seen the last season of Friends the way Nine stopped and started it. Thank goodness for the internet. Didn't realise that PTTR had finished for the season, just thought they put on that reality tripe instead.
