Julie becomes increasingly concerned as one by one the predictions of Bonnie Bright, the new sandwich-lady at Barrett’s Electricals, come true. The first clue that Bonnie might actually be onto something is her intuition that Julie is pregnant – no one except her best friend Chrissy at Barrett’s has been told.

Bonnie senses that Chrissy is going to have a serious run-in with new boss Don Barrett. No sooner has the prediction been uttered than Chrissy discovers a $15,000 discrepancy in the end of year stock-take – and finds herself in hot water. Certain, but not able to prove that Warney is the culprit, Chrissy is hurt to find that Dave is taking Warney’s side in the matter. Is Warney the snake in the grass Bonnie warned her about?

Rachel’s high school reunion is approaching and with her burgeoning advertising career, she feels certain of sticking it to high school nemesis Tarsha McNeil and first-love Mark Antico. Bonnie’s prediction of a looming crisis of confidence for Rachel seems to be unfounded - until a chance encounter with former school-chum Janice Leadbetter – a smug married with kids and a mortgage.

Rachel’s confidence starts to teeter. In a moment of madness, she declares herself involved with an amazing, fun and athletic guy named Giles. Fate seems determined to humiliate her further when all attempts to wriggle out of the reunion are foiled and the guy she’s recruited to take the part of Giles bails at the last moment, leaving Rachel with only one option – take Carbo!

Meanwhile Ben does his best to play along with Melissa’s determination to take their relationship slowly.
