Ben is forced to confront his trust issues as his friendship with Emma starts to blossom. Ever since Mel's death, trust is not something that's come easily to him.
Emma invites Ben to a fancy dress party and after initial reluctance, he manages to get into the spirit of things - only to discover that Emma's outfit is a nurse's uniform. He assures her it's not - and eventually trusts her enough to remember Mel in a joyful way. The experience is cathartic, allowing Ben to finally scatter Mel's ashes. But when Ben feels a spark with Emma, he suspects he's no longer having a problem trusting her - he's more worried about trusting himself...
Tom, meanwhile, attempts to reassure Ben of the wisdom of investing in his mate's son's nightclub. Tom proves his bona fides by offering to invest his own nest-egg and is adamant the project has the potential to make them both a lot of money. In the spirit of being more trusting, is Ben wise to overcome his wariness?
