"Here's a tip: if you ever encounter Lucas Till, the 19-year-old star of Hannah Montana: The Movie , just go right on up to him and say hello — don't just follow him around like a creepy weirdo stalker.

"One time it took a quarter-mile for these girls to get enough courage to actually come up and ask for a picture," he laughs. "Me and my buddies have fun with it — we'll see how long they'll follow us."

Till is used to getting recognised by fans since starring with Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana: The Movie , which hit cinemas on June 25 and is available now on DVD. He plays Travis, a cowboy who hits it off with Miley when her dad (played by her real-life pa, Billy Ray) banishes her to her old hometown in Tennessee.

"Miley's awesome to work with," Till told TVFIX. "She's really entertaining, whether she means to be or not — she's a lot like her character in the movie."

He confesses to having a lot of fun making the movie: he learned horseback riding for the role, and shot scenes with pop starlet Taylor Swift (who liked him so much she gave him a starring role in the clip for her song 'You Belong With Me').

Oh, and another tip? Don't compare Till to fellow Disney hottie Zac Efron. "I'm kind of doing my own thing," he responds tactfully — for starters, he doesn't sing and dance.
