Eleven Timelords unite for Doctor Who special?

"All 11 actors who have played the title role in the long-running sci-fi classic Doctor Who will reportedly unite for the first time in an upcoming special episode.

Though the news is yet to be confirmed, the Daily Mirror reports that the Doctors - including Christopher Eccleston, Tom Baker and the incumbent David Tennant - will star in a 15-minute episode that will air on the BBC in November to benefit the charity Children in Need.

The special will also mark the first time that 26-year-old Matt Smith appears as the Doctor, a humanoid alien who travels through time and space.

Though former Doctors William Hartnell, Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton have passed away, they will be included in the special thanks to some clever editing.

"This is a momentous episode for all Doctor Who fans. Never before have all the Doctors been in the same room, let alone in the same show," a BBC source told the Daily Mirror .

"It's been a logistical nightmare getting all the actors together and available for shooting on the same days. But the script has already been started and it's classic Doctor Who -really witty and very sharp."

The source blabbed that the special will revolve around Tennant's Doctor, who teams up with his past incarnations to hunt a "special time travel apparatus" that has been lost.
