those stupid judges need to screw their heads on right cos all the princess can do is pop her eyes bigger and make people eat gravel.

Dont know how that happened. The judges all said good things about the boys except for one plating up. They had negative comments about the girls so how the heck could they get scores of 10. Doesnt make sense to me

Nic & Rocco, without a doubt you should have won the final. Shame on the Judges. I have lost face in Manu & Pete and for the other two females Judges, all I want to say to you both that you have favored your own gender. Typical female nastiness. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope you can live with your unjust decision. I believe the conclusion was reached before the desert was served.
Nic and Rocco, you are both an exceptional pair of chefs. Your remain cool under pressure and you delivered exceptional dishes right throughout the event. The winning team were all over the place, burnt the food twice and left the white chocoloate off the desert. Yet, they won. WHY????? You should be very proud of yourselves. The Judges cheated you. They should hang their heads in shame. My wife and I love you both and we hope that you will consider opening up a Restaurant "Double Trouble" soon. We would fly from Canberra to Adelaide just to taste your food and say hello.

We will never watch MKR again.

my only question for judges is was there any mistakes on nic and rocco's plates? if yes then why didnt u tell us ? and girls they havent done their desert as they shown in the menu. so i think its totally corrupted scoring . poor judging !!!

The judges scores did not equate to the comments made about each dish, which were mainly more favourable to Nic and Rocko. Secondly how can you give a dish a score of 10 when an element is missing. It is immaterial if it was better or worse for it, that is what the said they would serve.

Although not applicable to this programme only. The winner takes all is unfair, even in the Olympic Games a Gold, Silver and Bronze are awarded.

The boys were really the winners.

not fair at all. Nick and Rocco did much better job than the girls. How can you win if you even couldn't complete what you wanted to cook. sham and disappointing.

First time Ive ever watched a reality show....what a disappointing ending....now feel that I wasted my time...that's it for me, back to not believing in these shows, it really is all pre determined - Nic and Rocco you should have won.

I couldnt believe the girls made the final after the 'gravel' incident but now after seeing the final it seems this was a pre determined outcome...dodgy ch 7 and MKR, I am voting with the remote next time!

I agree with jills. The Judges said the girls entree was possibly missing something. They said it lacked flavour. How then can they mark a 10?? I have watched this show from the first and the contestants lost marks for that previously. I was totally floored, Nic & Rocco were by far the best cooks and that dessert! it was an artform. HOW did they not get a 10 for that? Very Disappointed boys you let the show down with your decision. I too will now reconsider before watching the next show! Whats the point if you dont judge fair.

Absolute Sham. The girls won on sympathy vote. Why did Leigh get to tell her story about her single mother bringing them up on her own. Voted on sympathy not on ability or taste. Channel 7 you've lost me, not to mention the thousands that are blogging on all types of media today. Get back to the real issue of who can cook and who can't, And vote on that, not some sob story or acting ability. And why don't you come out and tell us exactly why they won, when they didn't complete dessert as by their menu and their entree was as you both said lacking depth.
Channel 7 rig their reality shows, Dancing with the Stars when Manu won, that was a joke. Jack Vidgen on Australia's got talent, and now this farce. Either vote according to ability or cancel your reality shows because you are losing credibility.

Think when Leighs Mother came into the studio the result was deceided there and then. Leigh cried, said what a hard life her Mother had as a single parent etc, etc and that got to the hearts of the judges. $$$$ SOB stories and tears got the better of the judges dishing out the points for Sobbing not for food, so what's the point of having MKR show. Nick and Rocco WON as far as I'm concerned, their menu was superior to the girls. Firsts and deserts were much nicer than the girls....GET REAL!! If the scoring was left to the other contestants, then Nick and Rocco would have won HEADS UP!! Think they all know good and well cooked food better than those 6 judges. Go Italian Boys!!! You were a pleasure to watch and being Italian/Polish myself am so proud of you both. I wasn't really going for anyone in particular during the series except to see the GENUINE WINNER take off the winners prize, which they didn't. Judges were contradictory of their comments during the meals to the comments at score time. 10's for the girls....SORRY! You have to be joking. I for one wouldn't order a meal with a blob of marrow sitting on top to eat. It looked GROSE! If they served Osso Bucco, then that's a different story. Jen is a good cook, Leigh follows orders, but last night was not their night. SORRY!!

i wont be watching MKR any more. sorry but how can you say someone is a head of the other team and then give the other 4 perfect scores. seems to me it was a contrived result...nearly as bad as Please marry my son... you have lost me ..chris

Nic and Rocco should have won with flying colours. Was the grand finals and these guys cooked to perfection. Thay cooked to restaurant style exotic, not cooking at home for some friends.
The way they presented the food . you couldnt compare to the girls.I have come to the conclusion this show is rigged.
How can you give a 10 for desert that wasnt cooked as specifed on the menu.

Im very disappointed with the results as well.. Though I realised something was suspicious when the girls still made it through eventhough serving food with gravel in it...

Jenn pretty much did all the cooking and if she really is a professional chef then this really wasnt a fair fight

Yes! They should have won. But keep in mind that most runner ups do become more successful than the actual winners.

What a complete joke!! I have lost all respect and interest in what those judges have to say about food. My husband and I have been keen viewers of MKR in past series and were enjoying the current 2012 competition until the semi and grand finals. When Jen and Leigh were able to make it to the grand final after a piece of GRAVEL for gods sake was found in their food by two judges, the show lost its credibility. If anyone else in the past had that happen they would have been roasted for it and scored accordingly. MKR has really let their viewers down with the outcome of the show. I believe that the boys were judged unfairly and i would like to know how those two female judges could justify a scores of 8 after they used the words perfectly cooked and without any negative identified with any of their dishes. I have nothing against Jen and leigh, all i wanted to see was a fair outcome and the best cooks on the night to win....unfortunately this didnt happen and i will NOT be watching another one of these series again...its all a load of #$%$

I agree with Emma. Most of what she cooks on Better Homes & Gardens looks gross, & never inspires me to try it! All those judges think they are a cut above anyway. It comes down to personal taste in the end anyway doesn't it?????

I am a Malaysian who's been watching the series n u can see that Manu likes Jen, is she the princess? U can see the twinkle in Manu' s eyes he speaks to her in the later episodes. An once, when she hugged him in the queensland dessert challenge, he seemed so pleased when she gave him a hug. I can see he has a soft spot for her.

Hi All,

After defeat of Nic n Rocco in MKR , I was really into tears. I was shocked to see that cooking show can be fixed.
As Jen was princess , so the entire show was already fixed .
I am very much amazed and disappointed to hear that such things happen in countries like Australia.
All the judges were already venal.Its was FIXED.
PLEASE DNT EVER CREATE SUCH FIXED SHOWS.

I WILL NEVER WATCH IT AGAIN AND I HOPE NOBODY WATCHES IT.
