I am absolutely amazed at the negative and destructive comments made by these contestants. Australians used to be known for their mateship and great attitudes but this show is disgusting!
This is the first time I have watched MKR and I will not be watching the rest of it.
I cannot believe that idiotic woman 'Princess' was allowed to make such a racial derogatory statement about Kiwis.
Channel 7 you should be ashamed as should all the contenstants!

I think you should get a dictionary out and look up the meaning of racism.....

New Zealanders are citizens of the country New Zealand, not a race.

Pffft Australia is so racist whether we continue to remain in denial or not! I have so many different groups of friends and they're all racist in different ways - whether it;s being possessive about Australia or inspired by this country - most people are racist - i mean we are one of the only 1st world countries who still fail to acknowledge the holocaustic actions our government chose to implement upon Australia's very own traditional peoples.

I'm with you Jacky, tonight was the first time I watched this and I was pretty shocked, and I'm not a Kiwi. I thought the other contestants we're quite harsh with their comments. Some comments pushed the boundaries I feel. For the others who replied "we don't have racism here", Really??

Australia is made up of a variety of people from different backgrouds and cultures, and we all are australians so how can you say australians are racist.

Hi guys, I think you miss the point - Aussies and New Zealanders have been mates from day dot (eg ANZAC's), so there's no racism involved here, it's just the friendly rivalry that it's always been

I agree about the 'friendly rivalry' where most of the contestants are concerned, but comments made by that vaccuous little "princess" went too far.
She showed - once again - just how ignorant she is.

Its the first time I watch MKR, I thought it would be worth iving it a chance this time. 4 episodes in and I am completely turned off. There we so many unpleasant comments, it was sickening to  watch!

For those who refer to today's comments as part of the long standing 'friendly rivalry': Today's show was waaay past that!

For those who say that there is no racism in Australia: I have lived here for 7 years, and as much as I LOVE this country and the people I have met, I gotta say I have coped with plenty of racism. Australia is not a racism free land as many would like to believe. I doubt any country is for that matter. After all we are each entitled to our opinions and preferences!

Did you see it tonight on MKR's I did so did many others regardless if they want too accept it or not shame on you contestants & ESPECIALLY CHANNEL 7. Well at least the Kiwi's acknowledge their Indigenous Culture loved the welcome dances, I'd be backing the Kiwis now well why not hey FAIR GO ☝

Regardless of correct terminology Ranggatang, whether you use racism, ethnicity, country of origin, citizen or however you would like to phrase it, there was no need for derogatory comments that attacked the intellect of people from another country.  As an Australian, I am shamed and embarrassed by the behaviour of certain contestants on the show.

Hi Slow,
Totally agree mate.

Mrs Pants:
I doubt any country is for that matter ?
No, it's not.  I worked in an African country as an aid worker for 2 yrs and was treated like rubbish by the locals (even though I was there to help).

Go figure.

Why can't people just get over the whole Racism thing,, who gives a flying  F**@# where you are born and what is your Nationality.. we are all human beings... living in one planet.. it'sour egos who separate us.. and it's up to us to make a difference.. so... when are we going to start? Perhaps MKR should set an example and since the ratings are so high...

i cant believe that people can be so nasty.  constructive criticism fair enough but Thomas and Carla have made some really mean comments.  I hope they can put their money where their mouth is otherwise they will look even more stupid than they already do. As for Jen, I felt sorry for her yesterday when things were not going to plan but she resorted to her usual catty self tonight.  Shame on you.

Lets just talk about manners.....

There were no manners, just very rude remarks.

Not only rude about where a person lives... but two were so ready to stick the boots in... and I was taken-aback by them.

Princess, and Thomas... I was very disappointed in their behaviour.

Its always the ones with a lot to say that usually are the most insecure.
