Comes across as one very spoilt, "I know better" individual. Cannot quite put my finger on it, but bluntly put I do not like her, her attitude, it turns me quite cold.

Agree, very childish for her age. AND have you noticed her table manners............APPALLING!!! elbows on the table while holding her knife and fork like they were glued to her hands.............AND worst of all ....eating off the wrong side of the fork.....like it was a shovel.....................well you can "have travelled all over the world and eaten everywhere Holly...........but you haven't learnt the basics of good table manners. YUK, if you were one of my kids you wouldn't be leaving the house until you have mastered some decent table manners

I think HOLLY Is great, and her Mum too.
People seem to have it out for her just because she is giving her opinion.
Childish? I would have to disagree - she appears quite mature to me.

educated. well-travelled, with an opininon of what she likes and doesn't like. so what? I wouldn't say pretentious at all. Seems like people are trying to cut her down and i can't understand it at all.

I think the problem with Holly is that the first we heard from her was her telling us she had eaten at the best retaurants around the world. First impressions do count and giving this information did sound pretentious. This was followed up with her eating like a pig. The two did not seem to go together well. Not sure about her education. But we will see if eating at the best restaurants transfers into wonderful cooking  skills. Not sure of the link.

Maybe you dont understand human nature. Holly comes across as "up herself" so people want to bring her down a level.

I'm seeing a lot of negativity here, and why don't you guys just keep it to yourselves?

Does it make you feel better to be so rude about others? Have you heard of editing? The 7 editors take the lines contestants say and put them out of context to get a reaction, and you guys are just pandering to this. Imagine how you would feel if people were saying this kind of stuff about you.

I'm sure Holly went on this show because she loves cooking and has a great relationship with her mother. She should be commended for this.

You need to get off your high horse. Why would you comment so strongly about an individual when you don't even know them. Give it a rest, seriously.

Holly's appalling table manners aside, I actually find her character rather intriguing...she's rather like a lucky dip, you never know what's going to come out...childish dressed women, honest and fair critic, unrefined palette...having completely made up my mind yet.

Are you serious??? All I'm trying to do is perhaps get people to realise that these are real people you're commenting about, and they don't deserve this.

If you want to use these forums to showcase your comedic skills, go ahead (FYI, you're failing). I'm going to get on watching on a show I enjoy, and seeing passionate people make great food. You could try and do the same.
