Use the freshest in season produce.Where possible use Australian ingredients.Don't overcomplicate your food. The tastes should be clean.Use fabulous dinnerware ,glassware and cutlery.I adore Villeroy and Boch If you serve champagne make sure it's French{I gave up domestic when I turned 30} although some of our wines are superb.Have nice lighting and cloth napkins.Don't take your cooking too seriously but have fun.

The title of your thread epitomises your true character. Patronising much.  You sound like the other one who thinks she is much smarter and more observant than anyone else.

I am curious though, who do you think is your audience?  Or in a simpler way, who are you trying to one-up or should I say show up?

Judging from your last response, and the over reaction, you are just a desperate bitter person trying to bait others and stick it to them.

Food can be enjoyed no matter what is served on.  The most humble of meals tend to be the most enjoyable...

And think of the planet next time you bring out cloth napkins.... watch you don't fall into your own nasty, little trap.  Mentioning your age is was what did it for me.

I use cloth napkins because if I'm lucky enough to have children I want them to inherit a healthy planet.Paper napkins like disposable anything are a blight on the planet.Hey why the viciousness......people can be so unkind
Have you no beauty in your lives? Don't be miserable. You attract bad energy that can manifest itself in the worst kinds of illnesses.Go outside with a simple sandwich and enjoy this beautiful day.

Get over yourself. The food tastes exactly the same on paper plates as it does on whatever fancy brand you choose to use. Be true to yourself rather than pretending to use the best and have the best of everything. You will be much happier then!!!!!!!!
