My Kitchen Rules' cheating scandal

Friends Ali and Samuel made a fatal flaw when whipping up a Thai-inspired meal in Wonderland, their Hobart instant restaurant that had an Alice In Wonderland theme because, said Samuel, “It is quirky and off-beat like our relationship.” Newly single Ali explained that Samuel – who affectionately calls her Mama due to her maternal nature - is a mate of her ex-husband's and just a friend.

The Tasmanians' unwitting error was made when public servant Samuel, 34, who believed the flavours of a curry paste need at least two days to infuse, used paste from a jar for his Entree of Thai Beef Curry Strips with Mai Tai Granita, despite teacher Ali's concerns. Big mistake. “That, to me, is cheating,” was judge Pete Evans' verdict. After their stove's gas ran out and the presentation of their Squid Hood Stuffed with Pork wasn't up to scratch Ali, 28, was reduced to tears. Things looked up when judge Manu Feildel said the squid melted in his mouth but their spirits dropped after their Thai-Rifle Dessert failed.

There was just as much action out of the kitchen. South Australian Joanna, the cooking partner of “Cupcake” Jenna, said she thought the former Beauty Queens from WA brought a “negative and fake dynamic” to the group. Joanna believed they were being overly critical in an attempt to have the hosts take their spot at the bottom of the leaderboard. The other teams awarded Ali and Samuel a 6 or 7 but voice teacher Lisa, 52, and her dance teacher daughter Candice, 28, gave them just 3, bringing their total score to 63.

In the previous episode, a near perfect Seafood Casserole entree, overcooked Pork main and undercooked Pumpkin Pie dessert gave Lisa and Candice a total of 57 at their Perth instant restaurant D'Lish.

The mother and child left their competitors speechless when they put on a flamenco show and, the following night, sang for their supper at Wonderland. But it was Cupcake who won the audience award for original score by coining a new word. “I'm getting all inspirated,” she said excitedly about the meal.

Next, Bondi personal trainers Luke and Scott cook up a healthy storm. Let's get inspirated!

Ashley and Sophia!!! the funny thing is when those ladies did not like the vegies they have in front of them, there is a coming rule which is to move on the left or right so they can have the products they know to work with. On the 3rd of April show, only one judge has been honest by saying that their duck did not have a crispy skin and a dessert to sweet and gave the right mark(5). During the previous show, we did not see the young ones desserts. Even when we look at that show on the net, we can see only one chocolate cake but not the others. Why, are they not running inside, over cooked? The way that show is judged, we know who's going to win.

The fact that Ashley and Sophia are still in the competition up to this point is blatant demonstration that this show is ONLY about ratings. YES the judging is obviously biased. Can they even cook anything besides south-east Asian food? I mean seriously. Give them a traditional Japanese dish to cook and watch them fail miserably.. of course the biased judges will both claim it to be "perfect again girls" (yeah like they can competently judge Asian cuisine to begin with). Angela and Milena deserve a medal for the rubbish they've had to put up with from those 2. I'm Asian too yet happy to say that we are all not like those 2 idiots Ashley and Sophia. Sorry to the Italian community who have to endure this garbage from channel 7.

Ashley and Sophia are a disgrace to the competition. They are playing the game by attempting to demoralise and intimidate their fellow competitors. That is not the Australian way and they are doing themselves no favours. . They prepare Asian food mostly and do not compete with other types of food. Not everyone eats Asian food !!! They are prime examples of school yard bullies and gang girls. Spiteful, rude and cruel, a perfect example of a street gang mentality. They have absolutely no social skills and actually said, they are perfect and the rest of the competitor are inferior to them. They came into the competition to divide and separate, (their own words), well they are doing a good job of showing themselves up as shameful people, And they have certainly separated themselves from the fair and decent competitors. They talk as though being Asian is above the rest of the people in the show!! My god. My opinion is -The sooner they are gone, the better.

Really disappointed if what I read in the magazine is true about contestant having scripts and being told what to cook and what to wear and so on will not watch it again if this is true.
