Jackie O set to take steamy dating adventures to Melbourne with the help of Carrie Bickmore: 'Keen'

With an exciting studio move and a multi-million dollar radio contract, Jackie O Henderson has it all. However, the popular media personality has allegedly been telling friends that she will be checking out Melbourne's elite single men and dating scene and reporting back on the Kyle and Jackie O show - which would no doubt delight the pair's loyal listeners.

"After quite a few years on the market in Sydney and Los Angeles the single mum is keen to see what Melbourne has to offer," a source exclusively tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

The Sydney Breakfast Radio Show has finally added its well-publicised extension to Melbourne it's been suggested that some of the younger producers are pushing for Jackie to join a couple of the dating apps in her new city.

The "single and ready to mingle" content they are looking to bring to the new market is on brand for their hugely popular radio show which loves hearing about Jackie O's steamy adventures. "Kyle enjoys teasing her and poking at her relationship adventures and truth be told, their audiences love hearing her squirm and trying to dodge his pestering questions," the source says. "However, let's face it - we all would want to ask the high-profile announcer those questions."

"Embracing a new market on radio is extremely important," the source continues. "You need to prove to your audience that you care about them. There are plenty of ways to localise your content and audiences shouldn't expect the usual tricks from the king and queen of radio."

Jackie O will be spending quite a bit of time down in Melbourne and her nights could potentially involve some fun girl's nights out with her good friend and fellow radio star Carrie Bickmore

"Jackie O and single gal pal Carrie Bickmore are hardly going to be out clubbing in Melbourne but have been planning plenty of catch-ups to debrief their love lives as both are keen to put their more recent dalliances behind them," the source said.

Jackie split from her husband Lee Henderson, with whom she shares daughter Catalina, in 2018 after 15 years of marriage. Carrie and her long-time partner Chris Walker parted ways in 2023.

On their premiere day, after saying it was a "big day" for the duo, Kyle introduced himself to new listeners as a "coke-sniffing asshole" and "ex-f**k boy", while Jackie confirmed that she was "STI free".

“It turns out he was a super fan," she admitted. "Halfway through sex, he says, ‘I can’t believe I’m having sex with Jackie O.'"

The man then said having sex with the radio star made him feel like "he was in a dream", and while Jackie O did say it was "off-putting" she deemed him a sweet guy. “It was so sweet. He was the sweetest guy,” she said.
