Farmer Wants A Wife fans call for a boycott of the show: 'Absolute disgrace'

Farmer Wants A Wife fans have been left fuming after watching the drama unfold this season.

Farmer Wants A Wife fans have called for a boycott of the show, with some saying they think this season is an "absolute disgrace". This year's season has been very dramatic, with Farmer Bert leaving on Tuesday night, with insiders telling Yahoo Lifestyle it was because he didn't get along with his producers who tried to create a lot of drama on his farm.

"Let’s boycott next year as all the emotional turmoil created by the producers toying with real people’s emotions is absolutely disgusting," one Facebook user wrote. "For example, Farmer Todd - the poor girl Ellen is obviously used as a prop only. Not once has she been seen to be a part of anything, as it is almost like she doesn’t matter because she obviously doesn’t fit their agenda.

"These narcissistic producers are a absolute disgrace and have destroyed this program and mental health of many of participants."

"I so agree, the producers are at fault for this fiasco that went on, the worst season I have ever seen, why can't it be genuine, what farmer would go out of their way and strip down to their birthday suit and be sketched and have bath dates the whole show is very R rated this year," another said.

"I definitely won't be watching next year...It really was the worst season ever," a third said.

"The people behind the scenes are causing a lot of trouble need to be replaced before it affects the show big time – farmers and some of the girls weren’t happy," someone else added.

Farmer Bert left the show on Tuesday night after Yahoo Lifestyle revealed he "felt uncomfortable with his producers and their suggestions on how to handle the remaining women".

"He no longer felt like he could go on and pretend just for the show."

It was revealed that what was happening on Bert's farm was worlds away from the other farms, and it was "like they were filming a different show".

An insider then revealed to us that Bert is now dating Lauren McNeil, who chose to leave the show a few weeks ago after finding the competition for his heart to be too much.

Our insider says the reason he quit might also be that "he was strong-armed into letting her go."

They add that the pair will likely go public after the show finishes airing in late May.
